A Love Project is a project or event we coordinate to help another charity, non-profit or a worthy cause.
On Valentines Day we packaged and hand delivered 100 Valentines to the homeless around Ottawa. 100 smiles were received.
Love projects are our projects that we choose to put our time into that directly relate to helping the community. Some can be as small as giving out Valentines to the homeless or putting together Christmas presents for those that can’t afford to purchase them. These projects are just to raise a little awareness, help others and spread a lot of joy while having fun.
The majority of projects have occurred in Canada and the Philippines.
We have participated in:
One Act of Kindness (Dana Harper and Joe-Mike)
Operation: Paint the City Clean
United Way Auction
FUNDRAISING EVENTS like:
Raise The Fun! (which helped a nurse in the Philippines apply for a position in the U.S.)
Art Carnival (which helped raise money for Art Child)
As well as covering other events that raise awareness on environmental or social issues, like:
Maasin Earth Day, which we helped paint a mural for
and
Zero Waste Coastal clean-up, where we helped cleaned up the coast-line of Mactan Island.
We often work with many creatively talented individuals to bring these projects together, but Love Projects don’t need to be anything HUGE.
We encourage people just like YOU to try performing a simple act of kindness.
